Honda’s have become an increasingly popular option for rental car seekers in recent years. This has lead to an upswing in the number of car lots that carry Honda’s. There are a number of reasons why individuals may prefer to rent a Honda over other types of cars. A few of these reasons include;
-Reliability. Honda’s are infamous for being reliable vehicles and rarely requiring maintenance when compared to other car brands. Many Honda’s have been reported to last well over 200,000 miles before finally giving out. This has made Honda’s a more attractive option in recent years for car rental companies and lots.
-Gas mileage. On average, Honda’s receive much better gas mileage than most American made vehicles. This has also caused a pique in interest by car rental companies in hopes of luring more customers who would like to save gas while driving their rental vehicle.
However, there still aren’t that many lots out there that carry Honda’s compared to other American car brands. Although the number has been growing in recent years, it is still far from the norm to find a lot that carries Honda’s. The companies that most often have Honda’s in their lots are Hertz and Enterprise, and even they do not carry Honda’s at each and every location. If you are looking to rent a specific type or model of Honda it can be quite hard to find the car that you are looking for. I would suggest calling around to several different locations in the phone book as opposed to driving to each location and asking in person.
