Last month, my wife and I finally took a week long trip to Puerto Rico. The reason that this was a significant trip was because my wife had been trying to get me to take a vacation for over six months. I really love what I do for a living, which means that I work a lot more than the average person. Because of this, it’s hard for me to want to take time off of work. However, after pleading with me for months to take a break and take a trip with her, my wife showed me an amazing deal she had found for a trip to Puerto Rico. Not only did the package include a flight and hotel room, but it also came with a rental car.
Once I saw what a great deal she had found, I agreed to book the trip because I knew how badly she wanted to go to Puerto Rico. When I told her that we could go ahead and book the trip, she literally jumped up into the air. We had a great time during our week in Puerto Rico, and although I can’t make any guarantees, I’m going to try my best to make more time for us to take vacations together.
